About My Services

Bible Tutoring and Discipleship for Women aged 20 and up.

Where is my (Luna's) office located?

When Covid came upon the world in 2020, She Speaks Wisely Ministries moved to an online virtual office presence and remains virtual, with the exception of some tutoring and mentoring services for those who live in Arizona.

The majority of my clients find it more convenient to meet via a virtual office for tutoring and discipleship coaching. They are able to "meet" with me from the comfort and convenience of their own personal space, during lunch breaks, while the kids are at school, and before leaving the office. Meeting virtually also removes the hassle of having to drive in traffic and find parking.

Book a Let's Chat session to experience for yourself the benefits and ease of meeting on Zoom. I do offer some in-person appointments for those who live in Arizona. In-person appointments are set up through a Let's Chat or Initial Client Intake Zoom session with limited availability.

  • Skills to study the Bible in context on your own.

  • Break free from legalism and spiritual abuse.

  • Skills to discern false teaching and doctrines

Expect growth with a firm foundation! Expect a judgment-free zone! As a believer, be open to the unexpected as the Holy Spirit stirs a shift within you as He illuminates the Word of God in your life. Change can be uncomfortable, especially meaningful heart-centered change, as one turns their life to the truths of the Bible and Jesus Christ, but the journey is worth the reward. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you.

What is Biblical Discipleship/Counseling?

Termed as Discipleship Coaching within She Speaks Wisely Minisitries, LLC
I am a trained, degreed Biblical Counselor in the S.A.L.T. Coaching Method.

Biblical life coaching/counseling for women aged 20 & up.

  • Faith foundations

  • Re-establishing your faith in Jesus.

  • How to navigate life God's way.

  • New believer mentoring

  • Restorative after going through hardships, leaving legalism, and being affected by spiritual abuse.

Biblical Counseling is rooted in the Holy Bible, God's Word. All that is discussed during a coaching session is processed through a biblical context. A Biblical coach/counselor is not a Pastor or therapist and does not function as one. See the disclaimer and professional disclaimer for more detailed information.

A typical biblical discipleship coaching session opens and closes in prayer to God. The main tools used during a session are conversation, listening, prayer, discernment, the Holy Bible, study materials, and the Holy Spirit to help guide personal self-learning and development through a biblical lens in context. All homework, reading materials, or soul-researching information given to the client is rooted in Christian historical biblical truths from the Holy Bible.

Biblical discipleship coaching is helpful in all areas of the Christian life, whether the goal is to improve a biblical understanding of God and the Bible, free oneself from legalism and spiritual abuse, or deepen a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Coaching encourages self-discovery and growth through learning vs. telling. Biblical Counseling is a lay persons ministry and is not a licensed profession. See the disclaimer and professional disclaimer for more detailed information.

What is Bible Tutoring?

Have you ever?

  • Have you felt out of place, like a rookie, in a Bible study?

  • Are you new to the Bible? A new Believer?

  • Have you tried the study the Bible but haven't found a method that works?

  • Do you struggle to find things in your Bible while following along in church?

  • Found yourself completely lost as to what was being taught in the Bible?

  • Had no idea what all the Bible/theology terminologies meant?

  • Afraid to speak up, join the discussion, or answer any questions in the Bible study group or at church for fear you will say something wrong?

  • Stopped attending Bible study because you felt that everyone else was more knowledgeable than you about the Bible?

  • Have you been a victim of legalism or spiritual abuse?

  • Has the Bible, God's Word, been used as a spiritual weapon against you?

The above is just a small list of the reasons I hear why women struggle to read their Bibles and participate in Bible study discussions. Instead, they lean into feel-good Christian books & devotionals, Youtube channels, or the latest speaker to tell them what the Bible says or for guidance.  There is nothing wrong with learning from those sources unless that is your only source and you never read the Bible.

How does a person know if what they are reading or hearing in those books, videos, or speakers is truly the Word of God and what the Bible actually says or means if they have not read the Bible for themselves or learned how to discern the Scripture in context?

Bible Tutoring teaches women easy-to-use tools and skills to increase their ability to read and understand the Bible with confidence.

  • Be able to read and understand the Bible.

  • Learn to break down Scripture to understand its context.

  • Learn how to study it verse by verse, chapter by chapter.

  • Have confidence when attending group Bible studies & church.

  • Learn basic Bible terminologies

  • What Bible translation is best for you?

  • Exegesis vs Eisegesis. What's the difference? Why is that important?

  • Learn how to study the Bible for yourself without using a study guide.

  • Learn how to recognize false teachings and doctrines.

Studying the Bible:

  • Draws you near to God.

  • Strengthens discernment through the Holy Spirit.

  • Helps you to identify false teachings and doctrine.

  • Transforms your heart to the things of God.

  • Helps you to hear God's voice and discern His will for you.

  • Connects a Believer to the Holy Spirit, who is the one that illuminates Scripture.
